SOME INTERESTING SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCES IN THE LYCHEE SEASON

3 months ago, I had a chance to give the initiation ceremony to a few families, altogether about 20 people. They all received a spiritual experience while praying in the name of Amitabha Buddha. Some of the experiences are quite interesting.

1/ In early May/2018, I performed the initiation ceremony for my sister-in-law’s family who live in Bac Giang Province. While praying to Amitabha Buddha, She had a vision of her deceased husband of 20 years, who conveyed an urgent message: “You must harvest the litchi and sell them immediately. Otherwise, you and the community won’t be able to sell them at all.”
Litchi trees are grown in great numbers in this area.” Even though they do not have the brand name like the CHU litchi, Chinese traders used to buy them in great quantities every year.
Moved by her deceased husband’s warning, my sister-in-law and her children swiftly gathered all the lychees and rushed to the market. Thanks to his foresight, she managed to sell them for $20,000/kg VND, a substantial price. Just days later, the market saw a dramatic drop, with litchi prices plummeting to under $5,000/kg VND.
With prices plummeting to such levels, the labor-intensive task of harvesting litchis from the mountain and transporting them to the market becomes financially unviable. Consequently, few are inclined to pick their litchis for sale, as the returns fail to cover the associated labor costs.

2/ Hieu –While in prayer to Buddha, a construction engineer in HCM city experienced a profound vision. Thousands of pairs of eyes seemed to scrutinize him, before the majestic and powerful gaze of a lion captured his attention. Gradually, the magnificent form of a yellow-maned lion, reminiscent of those depicted in Egyptian temples, emerged before him. With a grave and serious expression, the lion led him towards a picturesque, paradise-like city.

Moments later, the engineer found himself entering a stunning pagoda adorned with Khmer-like architecture. As he made his way inside, he was warmly greeted by two rows of monks, adding to the surreal and spiritually enriching experience.

3/Other people had visions of Guan Shi Yin Boddhisattva, Maitryeya Buddha…
