Divine Visions from the Initiation Ceremony

These are the 10 Divine acknowledgements during the Initiation Ceremony from various disciples’ reports: – translated by Horangi.

1. Người Mến Đạo
While reciting Namo Cundi Buddha, I witnessed Cundi Buddha with multiple arms and Kshitigarbha (Earth-treasury Bodhisattva) holding a khakkhara (staff).

2. Diệu Cát Tường:
During my three recitations of the holy name of Kwan Yin Bodhisattva, I saw an endless street glowing with dazzling aura. The figure of Buddha appeared before me, and I was shown slideshows of my life, urging me to fulfill my promises and find like-minded companions.

3. Hongtuyetsentra:
While reciting the name of Amitabha Buddha, I beheld a radiant smile adorning the countenance of Kwan Yin Buddha, bathed in a luminous beam of light. As I contemplated this divine vision, Kwan Yin’s presence seemed to merge with mine, entering my being with a swift and unexpected grace. Startled, I blinked open my eyes, still awestruck by the profound encounter.

4. thaothan:
During the initiation, I beheld the serene countenances of Kwan Yin and Maitreya Buddhas, their smiles radiating warmth and compassion. Then, to my surprise, Jesus Christ appeared before me, clad in a white robe, his familiar visage mirroring the iconic depictions, bearing a staff. He ascended gracefully from the earth into the heavenly clouds. As the clouds parted, they unveiled a vast road leading to a magnificent sun, its brilliance illuminating the path ahead. I witnessed numerous individuals walking together towards this radiant sun, guided by an unseen force, filling me with a profound sense of awe and wonder.

5. Thiện Minh:
As Young Thienminh recited the names of Vairocana Buddha and Kwan Shi Yin Bodhisattva, he witnessed a remarkable vision unfold before him. A ray of light pierced through the sky, illuminating the heavens, revealing the head of a magnificent Buddha with a distinguished high nose bridge, a radiant face, and a crown resembling a tower atop his head. Soon after, a slideshow of various Buddha faces appeared, captivating his sight. Amidst this divine spectacle, a shadowy figure of Kwan Yin Bodhisattva descended gracefully.

Upon concluding his prayers, Thienminh beheld another awe-inspiring sight. He saw two long rows of Celestial Beings seated in the lotus position, solemnly reciting the name of Buddha. These rows formed a majestic pyramid, stretching high into the heavens, its peak obscured by divine light. Eventually, the pyramid dissolved into ethereal white clouds, disappearing from view.

6. Hoavothuong:
Whenever my mom recites the name of Amitabha Buddha, she experiences a profound vision. She sees a magnificent Maitreya Buddha in the sky, radiating an aura of interchanging white and green jade colors, accompanied by innumerable Buddhas. Recently, during her recitation, she had a particularly vivid vision of Maitreya Buddha emanating a radiant yellow aura all around.
Additionally, my mom often receives visions of Maitreya Buddha and the Elder Immortal Daode Tianzun, as described in the book “Journey to the West”. In these visions, they stand side by side under a towering bodhi tree with glossy, large green leaves, surrounded by a dazzling aura.

7. hungduongqt
As I recited the name of Amitaba Buddha, about 5 minutes later, I felt my body warming up, and my face became hot. Through my third eye, I saw Sakya Muni Buddha seated on a distant cloud, slowly approaching me. Another figure accompanied him, whom I did not recognize. Soon, Sakya Muni Buddha stood in the air, smiling warmly at me. Then, Kwan Yin Bodhisattva manifested about 3 meters away from me, inside my house. I noticed two rows of people lining up on either side, gazing at me and whispering to each other, though I couldn’t discern their words.

8. Minh_Quang
About two months ago, I happened to read a post on Facebook, and it was as if my sixth sense urged me to read every line that Ms. Tú Uyên wrote, selecting candidates for initiation. I felt a sensation at the middle of my spine, urging me to seek initiation.

Immediately, Ms. Tú Uyên initiated me. I paid homage to the Ten Directions Buddhas. Then, I sat with folded palms and focused on reciting the title: “Amitaba Buddha’s.” As I meditated, I immersed myself in the recitation, with closed eyes and a serene mind, feeling as if I were floating above the ground, my body enveloped in a cool sensation, light and tranquil. I could smell a fragrant aroma surrounding me and the area where I was meditating. At that moment, I felt like I was reborn as someone else, and my third eye, the eye of wisdom, was opened—a swirling sensation between my eyebrows.

I saw three revered figures descending from above. One stood in the middle, Amitaba Buddha’s, one on the left was Kwan Yin Bodhisattva holding a vase of compassion, and one on the right was Bodhisattva Dashi Zhi Bodhisattva holding a lotus flower. At that moment, there were also two formidable guardian figures, one representing goodness and the other representing evil.

With deep reverence, I paid homage to these figures and prayed for them to accept me and guide me on the path of practice. I saw radiant lights around me, and the dignified and serene presence of these figures overwhelmed me with emotions—I couldn’t hold back my tears. I greeted my father and mother in tears whenever I saw them. Buddha A Di Đà gently handed me a yellow lotus flower and said something I did not fully understand. As he spoke in golden Pali words, which entered my right ear gently. As they ascended into the sky, I opened my eyes and shared my experience with Ms. Tú Uyên.

9. hoabinh:
As I recited the name of Amitaba Buddha for about 3 minutes, my body began to shake and sway. I joined my hands in respect, raising and lowering them as the motions grew stronger and faster, nearly bringing my face to the ground. Amidst these movements, I had a vision of Buddha seated on a lotus, accompanied by many other Buddhas standing in a straight line behind him. While continuing to recite the Buddha’s name and repent, I saw Buddha appear to smile at me before the vision vanished.

10. Lá xanh:
During the initiation ceremony, as I recited the name of Amitaba Buddha, about three minutes later, I felt a sudden electric sensation running down my spine. My eyes blinked rapidly, and before me appeared an image of a serene temple. In the temple courtyard, a joyful young boy was running and playing, while I sat observing him with delight. Suddenly, I noticed a peculiar light shining from the sky, revealing Kwan Yin Bodhisattva seated atop a lotus throne, holding a willow branch and a vase of compassion, smiling kindly at me. Bodhisattva then extended their hand towards me. In that moment, my eyes blinked several times before I regained full consciousness.
