Receiving the celestial scroll

Bowing to Grandmaster, Teacher!
This is the report from Cam Thanh and Thanh Cong about the ceremony of praying for the celestial scroll on August 21, 2011.

With Grandmaster and Master’s approval, Thanh put the Celestial scroll on the table and sat cross legged about 2m away, reciting the Dharanis, praying to have the holy force when a voice in her mind told her “just go forward”, at the same time the holy force moved her forward and a Buddha appeared as a vision. She bowed down and when she opened her eyes, the scroll was already in her hand.

Thanh Cong had prayed for the scroll a couple times unsuccessfully. Today he tried again with Cam Thanh. When he sat cross legged and recited the Dharanis, he saw the Guardian spirits guide him forward, there were many Buddhas and Bodhisattvas on either side of him, looking resplendent. As he kept staring at them he veered from the straight line and the Spirits said: We are guiding you straight and look where you are going, and added: “You need to keep the five precepts, and remember to avoid sexual misconduct precept!. When he opened his eyes, he saw the scroll in his hand.

At that time, Thanh, sitting beside Cong, had a vision of her and Cong both are wearing a monk robe, sitting on the final row in a hall full of monks. Ahead of them was Buddha and she heard: “You are officially enrolled today.”

Respectfully submitted,
Your disciple, Kita
