The first Miracle at Qui Nhon beachfront By Bạn đạo on 04 Dec 2008, 19:06 - Translated by ngocxuan - Edited by Horangi

Let me tell you about a miracle that happened at Quy Nhon beachfront on June 10, 2008. Quy Nhon is a coastal city in the Binh Dinh Province of central Vietnam.

It was just after 10:00 p.m. during one evening as I was getting ready for bed when I received a call from Vy, an employee whom I had initiated and who had had her third eye opened. She said that some people were searching for a child who had drowned, and that she had seen the child through her third eye. He was a boy of about 9-10 years of age, shirtless with only pair of shorts. I’ve never been one to get involved with other people’s affairs but for some reason I wanted to go and see this event with a thought in my mind that possibly I could help find this child’s body.

When I arrived at the beachfront at about 10:15 p.m., approximately 15 minutes later I had a vision of a boy in green shorts and a white shirt. He was standing in front of me drenched and with his head bowed. I said to him that if he wanted me to help him then he should inspire his parents to come and look for me.

I looked all around but could not see his parents only his grandfather in a devastated state in front of an altar and his uncles’ and aunts’ wailings from the loss of his life.

The child had drowned at 5:00 p.m. as his grandfather took him to bathe in the sea and the waves had overcome him. He was 12 years old, born in Gia Lai and came to Quy Nhon, his maternal grandparents’ home town, to take up extra summer classes.

That day the sea was rough, with large waves and strong winds. His family and many people had tried to find his body by diving into the sea and using drift nets and hoop nets but only retrieved rubbish from the seabed. His family had called upon many shamans and people who are experienced in this field for help. – they tried everything that was suggested but all to no avail.
At the time there were hundreds of people present at the beachfront, each with a different opinion but most people thought that it was a futile effort due to the strong waves.

When I saw an acquaintance standing among the boy’s family, I came and asked her if she knew the boy’s family. She said yes and I described to her the vision I had of the unfortunate boy. Then I left the beach.
About 11:20 pm when I arrived home, the boy’s parents came to ask for my help, as they were told about my vision which was an accurate description of their child. I returned with them to the beachfront.

It was about 11:30 p.m. when I arrived at the beachfront the second time. The crowd encircled me and I heard various comments: “Looks like she is a modern shaman…”, her face is so bright..” And that was because I did not have the appearance of a traditional shaman or medium (monk robe, cassock or joss sticks in hands…). A child came running and gave me some vermillion to rub on my cheek. I laughed and told him that I did not need it and that I was not the professional channeler.
I went right to the beachfront and joined palms together to pray: “I sincerely asked the Spirits within this jurisdiction to show me how to find the boy if you deemed him worthy”.

Approximately 2 minutes later I saw with my third eye 2 Spirits emerging from the water dressed in armors (they look like guards from the ocean palace) with the boy between them and dragging him towards me. They told me that the father should pray at the altar for the Gods to help him, and the family should shine a floodlight on the sea surface in preparation to receive the body. I repeated the Spirits’ instructions and everybody carried out the instructions.
Then I talked to the crowd, asking them to help pray for the family. I instructed them to sit down and recite Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva’s name 3 times and thereafter to continue reciting the name themselves. About 30 people sat down including the boy’s family.

About 5 minutes went by then I asked everyone to stop and recount their spiritual experiences while they were praying. When the fifth person was recounting his experiences, someone was yelling: ‘There’s the body, the body of the boy has surfaced!’ Everybody ran toward the shoreline. People cried as they were overwhelmed with excitement and emotions. They said: It’s a miracle... what a miracle!” The grandfather of the boy told people he saw the body of his nephew was rolling to shore and stopped right at his feet. They body of the boy did not just float as all corpses do but actually roll like a bottle someone had tossed across. This is extraordinary.

Two men carried the body up from the waters in the same manner as the 2 Spirits in my earlier vision. It turned out that the boy look exactly as I and my staff had seen in a vision. The corpse was intact and was still fresh.

The curious crowd surrounded me again with hundred of questions. Many expressed their admiration for me as if I was some kind of a Saint. Some said: This is like what we read in the mystical novel: The nomination of the Gods! Other people who were experienced in cases of drowning remarked that this event was in fact a miracle, and that there was absolutely no doubt about it. They had never seen anything like this before because drowned victims usually drift far away, and only resurface after at least 24 hours with body parts maimed by fishes. They had also never seen a body rolling to shore at the exact same place of the drowning, and as predicted : flashlights were shining at the exact spot. As for me, I felt deeply moved and I was very happy that I was chosen to play a part in this miraculous event.

A week later, the grand parents of both sides of the boy and his family came to my place to ask for the initiation into Secret Buddhism. They have received many spiritual experiences.

The second Miracle at Qui Nhon beachfront - The case of NG.T. Dung- Qui Nhon Province

On April 6, 2009 I was out running errands when I received a phone call from Hung- the father of the drowned boy I have helped in recovering the body in my previous story. Hung asked me to help recover the body of a man named N.T. Dung, 45 years old, residing at LHP, Qui Nhon province.

I hesitated, being not too sure if this was meant for me to do. When I returned home I met the relatives of the drowned man. Trang, my elder sister told me that when Mr. Dung’s family came over looking for me to help them, she had seen a vision of a fat, short and fair-skinned man wearing a white shirt, blue trousers and brown shoes. The man came toward Trang and she heard the sea gods telling her that there must be an offering consisting of a plate of five kinds of fruits and a pot of white wine. When I described the man in my vision the family confirmed that it was the clothing Dung wore last. Hearing her account I knew that this is a divine sign revealing the method by which the body would be recovered, therefore I accepted the family’s request.

I went with my sister Trang and another disciple of Secret Buddhism named Chin, and the family of Dung to the area where he was drowned. I was told that Dung and his friends had gone fishing in the morning of April 5, 2009. Dung was sitting on a rock of the river bank when he was knocked over by a wave. He never learned to swim and so the water engulfed him despite all the efforts from his friends who were trying to save him.

The river ‘Bridge’ where Dung’s tragedy happened is situated twenty to thirty kilometers from the province of Qui Nhon. When we came to this fishermens wharf and passing by a temple that worship the gods of the South Sea, I saw a group of men gambling inside the temple, and from the ‘third eye’ I saw a group of Spirits gambling as well. Perhaps the Spirits had also taken up the bad habits of mortals.

A god came outside to greet me. He said: “There have been many drowned victims in this sea zone.” I said: Thank you, you seem to have a good time gambling in there.” The god smiled and saluted me one more time. Then I, my sister, Chin and the drowned man’s relatives went on our way, we crossed many hills of ferns under the scorching sun and arid weather and came to the sea shore. The sea was naturally beautiful, the water was blue and very clear. The place where Mr. Dung fell down is only 3 meters deep, however dozens of local professional divers and eight others from the city of Nha Trang had searched the area for the past 2 days in vain.

I chose an area on the sea shore to make it an altar, on the sand I put 12 candlelights, wine, red flowers and a plate of five kinds of fruits. Then we all knelt down to pray. I also took this opportunity to perform the Initiation into Secret Buddhism to Mr. Dung’s relatives. When they were reciting the name of Kwan Yin Bodhisattva, I asked Dragon Gods and other gods of the Sea to help me succeed as a mean to propagate the religion.

We knelt down for a long time under the burning sun in order to show our sincerity, but when I looked behind me I saw the members in Dung’s family staying comfortably in the shade, some wearing a hat, others used a shirt for cover, sunglasses… to protect them from the sun. Dung’s father with his dark sunglasses was laying comfortable under a tree, I heard that he came from America and I wondered why he did not care about matters concerning his own son?
I also heard that Dung left behind his wife and two daughters. His wife had fainted upon the terrible news of his death and so afflicted by it that she did not go out. The daughters were here, they were very sad. They relied on the family of their father to help them but all of them showed indifference toward the rituals that was supposed to bring about a miracle.
After I prayed to the Gods I had a vision: The sea Gods opened a metal cage and let Dung out. I took the offerings, recited the mantra and threw them into the water, and continued to recite the Five Dharanis while walking along the seashore. This ritual lasted 15 minutes, it was 1:30 pm. I asked everybody to get up and go sit in the shade and wait til 3:00pm, because the gods had told me that the body would surface by then. I said to the family the following: I have made the petition to the sea Gods and Kwan Yin Boddhisattva to help your family, it is your turn to continue praying to Kwan Yin in a devoted way”. However, no one was praying (!)

It was almost 3:00 pm, more and more local people came to the place and many of them surrounded me discussing on the issue. A number of my brothers and sisters expressed their doubts: “You could pray for the sake of praying but it is not possible to find the body as the professional divers themselves could not find it.

By exactly 3 o’clock there was still no sign of the body, the family of the victim became anxious. I prayed to the Gods to make my magic rituals effective as I walked back to the sea shore to make another ritual. I burned incenses, knelt down and invoked the name of N.T. Dung, calling his soul to come over and receive the Initiation into Secret Buddhism. I immediately saw him walking toward me from the far sea, he was dripping wet. I advised him to receive the Initiation and repent for his sins so that the gods would let his body surface, and that would lessen his family’s pain. A monk in a red robe then appeared and poured water on his head. I gave the Five Dharanis to Dung. He went back out to the sea and knelt down to pay homage to a beautiful Goddess, in a glittering gold dress, the style of Hindu Goddess. She had accepted him as her disciple.

At this time my sister Trang, sitting on a rock on the other side had a vision of many Mermaids dancing in the middle of the sea.

I called Mr. Dung’s daughters over and told them what I had just seen. I explained to them that he has received the Initiation and was thus liberated, he had followed the Gods to learn spiritualities in the other world. His body will be returned to the family. I told the girls to be calm and wait some more. The daughters were moved to tears and thanked me.

Then I went back to the ferns hills and sat down in waiting. About 20 minutes later, Dung’s body came up and was found by someone in a bamboo basket boat. Earlier, my sister had a vision and had shown people where to look for the body but they said that they had searched there already and found nothing. The body was picked up and taken to shore. People shouted out of joy and admiration and I was surrounded by ‘fans’, some called me ‘miss’, some called me teacher asking for my address. I felt happy too. I asked the villagers for a bottle of wine and used it to perform a thank you to the Sea Gods, and went home afterward. On the way home I had a vision: The Sea Gods were happily having a wine party.

The Third Miracle at Qui Nhon beachfront - Translated by Horangi

Mr. Nguyen Hy, 51 years old, lived at Dam Market in Qui Nhon province. On May 8, 2009, he went swimming in the ocean at Black Bridge and was drowned. His family had come to ask me to help locate his body. I explained to them that I am not a medium who make a living by doing those things. I am a disciple of Secret Buddhism, my supernatural powers come from Buddha and from reciting the mantra.

I told them: “If you want me to help in this matter, then you must vow to worship Buddha and God and to practice the spiritual path seriously if the body would be found.” I further told them that the success of finding his body depends on the karma of each person. If his/her family sincerely believe and devotedly pray with the Deities, there will be a higher chance for success compared to non-believers. My role is to present the petition to the Deities and leave it up to the Deities to decide. From my experiences of working with common people I know that few people are worthy of receiving divine blessings because they lack gratitude and respect.

I proceeded to give the sister and a cousin of Mr. Hy the Initiation rites into Secret Buddhism. Meanwhile I had a vision of a temple that was located far out in the middle of the sea. I asked the family members if there was such a temple but they had no idea. I thought to myself: “What I saw is illogical. How could there be any temple in the middle of the sea?” However, when we went down to the area where the accident happened and looking straight out there was a temple indeed. What a pleasant surprise! The divine vision had turned into a reality! I pointed to the temple and everybody was surprised. Afterward, I gave another Initiation rite to over ten relatives of Mr. Hy. They knelt down before the make shift altar on the beach and kept praying in the name of Kwan Yin Bodhisattva. Then they went to buy fruits and flowers to make offerings in the temple.

On the small boat that was taking us (I, my elder sister Trang, and two other disciples) to the temple, Trang had a vision of a young boy with wings on his shoulders, holding a spear in his hand, flying toward us and leading us toward the temple. I saw a vision of many Dragon Gods surfing the waves and coming toward us. They saluted us and asked us to give them the Dharanis so they could practice them.

The temple was built from a stretch of rocks that rose from the sea. Looking out from the temple, you could see the Ha Thanh bridge built across the sea, it was famous nationwide for its length. I used to stand on this bridge and looked toward the direction of this temple but I had never seen it before, instead I had seen in a vision before it became a reality. Visions are sometimes hard to understand and people oftentimes gave their own interpretations according to their own preferences.

The locals worshiped a General who died in the battle that happened here, the Goddess of the Dragon Palace and Kwan Yin Bodhisattva. They said this temple is sacred. In my last story about the 45 years old man named N.T.Dung, I had mentioned that there was a Goddess who appeared and accepted him as her disciple, today when I saw the Goddess of the Dragon Palace in this temple I realized that the Head of the Dragon Palace was a Goddess and not Dragons Kings as I had always believed and seen in movies since my childhood.

I began my prayers to the Gods of the Sea and Dragon Gods. After introducing myself as a disciple of spiritual mentor Nguyen Mai and grandmaster Trieu Phuoc, I said: “Today if I have 'nhan duyen', please help me recover the body of Mr. Nguyen Hy. I am doing this solely to promote and enhance the reputation of the religion. The Deities can be my judges.”

My religious elder brother T. Hung had taught me a Magic ritual to locate the lost body by drawing the Sanskrit word LAM on a paper that had the name of the deceased, and holding that paper in the mouth while reciting the Cundi Mantra. So I put it into practice.
We held the sacred writing in our mouths for a while and when we left the temple, we let the paper off into the waters. That day the sea was agitated with waves and wind, but it became even more agitated a few minutes after those papers were casted down the sea; big axe-shaped waves continuously rose and fell rapidly. I saw many Dragon Gods and the Gods of the Sea: they were happily following us riding on the waves and trailing behind them a big black Chinese character. They told me that the many mantras that were casted into the sea had shaken up the sea realm. They called my name loudly. The Gods guided our boat to circle an area, saying that we were making a Magic Circle in order to keep the body of the drowned person within this area - between the temple and that of the sea gate of St Tran. Later on I was told Mr. Hy was drowned at the intersection of Thanh Ha river and the sea, where a statue of St Tran stood guard. Many people have drowned there and their bodies would be rapidly taken by the river stream out to the sea and could only be found after ten or twenty days.

After the completion of the Magic Circle, the Gods told me that they would return the body around 5 to 6:00 pm. When we got back to shore I asked someone who knew Chinese the meaning of that big black Chinese character I saw at sea and was told that it means: “Tomorrow”. I told the family members to search by boat the areas I indicated between 5 and 6 pm, and if nothing happens then the time may be changed. However even if they do not see the body I am sure that it will remain in the area in the direction of the altar looking straight out.

I went home afterward and suddenly remembered that I had not given the initiation rites for the soul of Mr. Ng. Hy. I decided to do so in the morning so that it would be easier to recover his body. Then I went to bed.

Around 8:00 in the morning, I was doing things when I had a vision of the Sea Gods. I heard: “T, do you know that when a person was drowned he/she will become a citizen of the sea realm. If you initiate him/her into the religion, you are taking away a citizen of the sea world.” I startled.. Oh ! so I realize I cannot just initiate anyone I want to. They have their own karma and it is not easy to help them cultivate the spiritual path.
I respectfully replied to the gods: “I understand, T will not give the rites to Mr. Hy. Thank you for reminding me. Please acknowledge that except my wish to enhance the reputation and promote the religion, I do not have any other motives.” The Gods of the Sea laughed and then said that around 12 o’clock today they will let the body resurface on the waters. They let me see a vision of Mr. Hy, he is now a citizen of the sea realm. He was wearing a soldier of the water realm protective attire with a spear in his hand.

And things did happen exactly as the God had revealed. Mr. Hy’s relatives announced to me that the body was found at 11:30 am that day at the indicated location. How exciting, his body had remained within the marked area under such strong winds, big waves and the forceful flow of the river stream.

I recalled that many years ago I had a dream which repeated itself many times. I saw a small boat taking me and many people to the sea, the boat was circling a stretch or rocks that rose up in the middle of the ocean. On the rocks was a temple of the Goddess. I heard a voice: “My daughter, go inside and worship the Goddess. Then pick up the rocks at your feet. They are pearls.” The temple in mid ocean in my dreams is no different than the one I just visited. And I also had randomly picked up a small rock there this morning when the gods were giving me the directions for the ritual. I checked the piece of rock... it had the shape of a fish. How strange... was today my home coming?
