Linhhoa's Mystical Experiences:
My name is Linhhoa, 41 years old. My family has been worshipping Kwan Yin Bodhisattva for 5 years. By God’s grace, I was initiated on Oct. 25th lunar by "brother" MinhThien and had received the Force following my reciting Kwan Yin's name. Two days later, when I chanted the Five Dharanis, I felt a coldness in my back and my hands started to shake. I initially thought that it was because of the cold weather of Hanoi. I tried to resist the shaking as hard as I could but the shaking got even stronger. My hands were raised and lowered on their own. Then a light went on inside me, I realized that it was the Buddha's power guiding me and felt so happy. I continued chanting the Dharanis to experience more. And when I told about this experience to my mother-in-law and my husband, they were happy and wanted to be initiated as well. They were initiated by brother MinhThien on November 4th (lunar calendar).

That night, I was sleeping with my 2 kids when I heard something that sounded like a bird clapping its wings at the foot of my bed. I guessed it was my husband’s tucking in the mosquito net for us but when I opened my eyes I saw someone sitting cross-legged in the air, and moving around up in the air, close to the ceiling. I wondered why my husband hovered on the ceiling like that. And the image disappeared when I opened my eyes wider to look at it. I would have been scared to death if this had happened to me before the initiation. But I was not scared now. I understood that it was my Invisible Guardians and they wanted to get me acquainted with the supernatural world. I went downstairs and saw my husband watching football on TV. I told him what I just saw and we both had no idea about it.

Since I was initiated, I have practiced the Dharanis very diligently. I like to share something that has been wonderful for me. My 70-year-old mother never believes in any religion. She used to verbally abuse her children so much that they (2 of her sons and daughters) moved out and kept away from her. When I told her about what happened to me following my religious initiation, she was happy and wanted to be initiated. She confided to me that she had made many mistakes in the past and wanted to change to the better. She made me very happy.

I feel grateful to the Deities, and Bodhisattva Kwan Yin. I would like to thank Master TP and also brother MinhThien who had helped me start on the religious path.
