Story 12 -East-West Mystical Encounter

Câu chuyện số 12 – Huyền bí Đông và Tây Phương by Hoctro-gia on 12 November 2008

I recounted the following story at the request of Old_Guru. He had reviewed my report and watched a video about the story. His opinion, as you may gather from this narrative, is that Eastern and Western mysticism are not two separate systems but rather facets of a unified whole.

About 7 or 8 years ago, I visited Linda McKenzie with 4 disciples at her home in Manhattan Beach. She welcomed us warmly, curious about our religion because her husband had been initiated by one of my disciples. As we settled in, she shared about herself.

Linda revealed that she owns a nutrition company and hosts a radio show. Besides being a psychic, she is a clinical hypnotherapist, writer, and lecturer. On her show, callers receive brief readings based solely on their names, which often prove accurate.

At the age of 8, Linda discovered her psychic abilities, including foreseeing events. Throughout her life, she communicated with God, who blessed her with supernatural healing powers. She has healed many, including herself and her daughter, from illnesses modern medicine couldn’t cure.

Her fame in the psychic world led the British Government to invite her, along with other psychics, to England for an experiment testing their abilities. Each participant, using their unique skills, uncovered details about the notorious killer Jack the Ripper, which matched secret police files and historical records. This experiment was documented in the video “Jack the Ripper,” earning Linda an honorary PhD from a university. At the time of our meeting, she was in her early 60s.

When she finished her story, I proposed initiating her. She refused, stating that she believes only in God and requires nothing else. I suggested she pray to God for guidance. Joining her palms and closing her eyes, she prayed silently for a moment. Upon opening her eyes, she said to me, “The message I received from Him is ‘This is God’s will’.” Accepting the initiation, she allowed a disciple to pray for her in the Name of God. Within minutes, her hands moved apart autonomously, guided by an invisible force, leading her to approach me. She began to bend forward, then hesitated and stood back up. She explained feeling an urge to bow, though unaccustomed to doing so, as she respects me and my teachings. She clarified that she only kneels before God.

I told her that is fine, however, why don’t you consult with God about this? She did. And then she started to let the divine force guide her to bow all the way down to me. After that, I talked to her a little about Old_Guru Secret Teaching practice. A disciple took out the sacred yantra, representing God and the Five Armies, and put it on the book shelf. Again she was prompted to kneel and bow down with her head touching the ground (oriental way of paying respect to Buddha)
She seemed moved when I gave her the set of five mantras for her to practice. She attempted to recite them with such a peculiar accent, given that the mantras were in Vietnamese, that they were hardly recognizable, much to our amusement.

Towards the end, both she and her husband were prompted and guided by the force of the Spirit to perform a prostration three times in the manner of Tibetan Lamas, fully lying down with their faces touching the ground.

Before we departed, she signed and gifted me a copy of her book “Inner Insights,” published in 1996.
